Chapter 1

A path lead from the tiny garden plot into the forest…it took a while for me to get there. As I entered I introduced myself. An introduction -something I had read about in a book written by author Leigh Joseph, called “Held by the Land”

Although I had been taught the honourable harvest. This act of introduction was new to me. Not new to the forest however. I believe the forest welcomed me. This was the day that all the plants I had been delightfully learning bout, revealed themselves to me, one at a time.

“Hello” I spoke. “I am Dionne. I am not here to take. I am here to learn.”
