Dionne Legge

Hi, I’m Dionne (she/her). I’m a passionate foodie and self-proclaimed herb nerd with a deep love for holistic nutrition and plant medicine.

I studied holistic nutrition at The Institute of Holistic Nutrition in Vancouver, B.C., graduating with First Class Honours in October 2019. To expand my expertise, I completed the Monash University Low FODMAP Diet for IBS certificate for health professionals in 2023 and spent the summer of 2024 immersed in an 8-week live-in Clinical Herbal Medicine apprenticeship at Innisfree Farm and Botanic Garden with Chanchal Cabrera (From Field to Farmacy).

For the past five years, I’ve worked as an in-house nutrition consultant at a specialty grocer, where I guide customers through nutrition tours, workshops and one on one educational sessions. My work is rooted in helping people connect with food in a meaningful way—from understanding its impact on health to embracing the power of herbs and local ingredients.

I’m a lifelong learner, always deepening my knowledge of plant medicine. When I’m not working or studying, you’ll find me digging in the community garden or cozying up with a notebook and a cup of tea. My passion is teaching others how to reconnect with food by reconnecting with the land—and I hope to inspire you to get your hands dirty and dig deep.
